EXCLUSIVE: Veteran managers Ryan Lucas and Amelia Shugrue have joined Linden Entertainment. Both will be based out of the Los Angeles office and come from 2AM Management.
The pair share a number of clients that will follow to Linden inclusive of Tommy Dorfman (I Wish You All The Best); Film Independent Spirt Award nominee, Annapurna Sriram (F*cktoys); and Antonio Marziale (Starf*ckers).
During Lucas’ time at 2AM, he rapidly expanded the filmmaker-focused company’s roster of actors. These that will follow to Linden include Jayme Lawson (Sinners); Tony-Award winner Sean Hayes (Is This Thing On?); India Amarteifio (Queen Charlotte); Daniel Liu (The Devil Wears Prada 2); John McCrea (Prince F); Sam Straley (Welcome to Flatch) and Edoardo Benzoni (Are The Bennet Girls Ok?). Prior to 2AM, he was an agent at UTA and graduated from the University of Michigan.
Shugrue has garnered a roster of auteur-driven filmmakers and writers, many of which will also follow to Linden such as Leonardo van Dijl (Julie Keeps Quiet); Carolina Cavalli (The Kidnapping of Arabella); Constance Tsang (Blue Sun Palace); Valdimar Jóhannsson (Lamb); Crystal Moselle (The Wolfpack); Makoto Nagahisa (We Are Little Zombies); author-filmmaker Katherine Faw (Ultraluminous: A Novel); Hannah Peterson (The Graduates); Lucy Kerr (Family Portrait); Jeannie Sui Wonders (Moonlake); Eve Liu (Nervous Energy); Keisha Rae Witherspoon (T); Jimmy Goldblum (A Broken House); Tij D’oyen (Lollygag); and Joie Estrella Horwitz (A Summer Job). Prior to joining 2AM, Shugrue worked in publicity and distribution at A24. She is a graduate of the UC Santa Barbara Film & Media Studies program.
