If you’re in the Memphis area, you’re in luck. Memphis and the Mid-South will play host to a variety of concerts and special events to celebrate the past year and ring in the new one.
Here are the standout celebrations, shows and events happening in the Memphis area on Wednesday, Dec. 31. If tickets or reservations are needed, we recommended reaching out as soon as possible to check on availability.
New Year’s Eve on Beale

As usual, Beale Street will be the epicenter of music and celebrations in Memphis this New Year’s Eve, with the “Countdown to 2026.” There will be live music up and down the entertainment district, with tens of thousands of people, spilling in and out of bars and restaurants onto the street, before everyone rings in the new year with fireworks and confetti cannons as the clock strikes midnight. To join the NYE party on Beale, you’ll need to be at least 21. New Year’s Eve Concert Celebration at Lafayette’s

Overton Square will offer up plenty of New Year’s Eve activity, and Lafayette’s Music Room promises lots of live music, with a concert bill that will feature music from Play Some Skynyrd at 6 p.m. and a headlining turn from Aquanet at 10 p.m. Doors open at 5 p.m. with Vegas-style seating. The event will offer hors d’oeuvres, party favors and a champagne toast at midnight. Tickets are $50 per person and available at Lafayettes.com.
NYE at Tiger and Peacock

Welcome 2026 in unforgettable style at Tiger and Peacock, located at The Memphian Hotel. Cooper-Young watering hole Bar DKDC will mark the end of 2025 with a pair of events. The night will start early with singer-songwriter Lahna Deering’s “I Miss Memphis” New Year’s Eve dinner show at 6:30 p.m. After that, starting around 8:30 p.m., the bar will transition to a full-on party, with DJ Rhinestone and DJ Livin spinning starting at 10:30 p.m. For details, go to Bardkdc.com.
Mid-South Pride Presents: New Year’s Eve

Ring in the new year at Minglewood Hall with a party featuring two stages of nonstop music, dancing and entertainment presented by Mid-South Pride. Get ready for light shows and lasers from Illumination Lasers & Lights and Sublime Light. The evening’s DJ lineup includes Scotty B, Jordan Rogers, MAD, Vibe Check, Katie Loopz, iLL STU and Test Kit. Plus there will be two drag shows — an early show to get things started and a late-night production to carry you into 2026. This is an 18 and older event. New Year’s Eve at The Peabody

Gather your friends and grab a glass of champagne to ring in 2026 at the “South’s Grand Hotel” during The Peabody’s annual New Year’s Eve Party. Live music and entertainment will be provided by DJ A.D. and the Vibe Tribe with Seeing Red and DJ FERB, plus The Jeremy Shrader Jazz Duo in the Corner Bar keeping the show going all night. Celebrate the new year at The Aloft Downtown, which will host the “Where There’s a Will There’s a Way” party. The event will feature music by Black Cream, Diamonique Jackson and Doll McCoy. The Blackout New Year’s Eve Celebration

Usher in 2026 with the third edition of The Blackout New Year’s Eve Celebration at the Holiday Inn & Suites Memphis Southeast-Germantown.
