The bleacher-style seating of Discovery River Amphitheater is open daily as a rest area. It’s been several years since the purpose-built venue has been utilized for live entertainment. The theater opened in 2017 with the debut of the “Rivers of Light” nighttime show, and most recently hosted viewing for “Disney KiteTails” in 2022. Both are now defunct.

DinoLand, including Restaurantosaurus and the Dinosaur ride, will permanently close on Feb. 2, 2026, with its final operating day being Feb. 1. The area will be replaced by a land called Tropical Americas, complete with an “Encanto” ride built from the ground up and an “Indiana Jones” ride repurposing Dinosaur’s ride system.
