Victoria Jones, the daughter of award-winning actor Tommy Lee Jones, has died at age 34.
Reports of her passing started circulating on Jan. 1 after a woman was found dead in the Fairmont Hotel in San Francisco, Calif., early that morning. On Friday, the San Francisco Fire Department confirmed the woman was Jones to The Hollywood Reporter. No cause of death was given.
However, TMZ reported that the call came into the police as a suspected drug overdose. In Broadcastify dispatch audio obtained by the outlet, the call came in as a “code 3 for the overdose, color change.”
Jones was discovered in the hotel’s hallway at 2:52 am on New Year’s Day. The San Francisco Police Department confirmed that officers responded to a medical emergency at the hotel around 3:14 a.m. However, she was dead by the time they arrived, according to the fire department.
Jones had a history of drug use in the past, often resulting in run-ins with the law. Per court records reviewed by the celebrity.land, she was arrested in Napa County in April 2025 for obstructing a peace officer, being under the influence of a controlled substance, and possession of a narcotic controlled substance.
Jones was arrested again in Santa Cruz County in May, and then back in Napa County in June, where she was charged with domestic battery and domestic violence/elder abuse.
Jones is one of Tommy Lee’s two children, who are both from his second marriage to Kimberlea Cloughley. Tommy Lee and Cloughley, who were married from 1981 to 1996, also share son, Austin, who is 43.
