Kelly Clarkson is giving fans a hint one of the next songs she will be singing on an upcoming “Kellyoke” segment.
The powerhouse singer and host of The Kelly ClarksonShow continues to amaze her fans with each and every one of her “Kelloyoke” covers, and the next track on the docket is anticipated to be no exception.
Clarkson, 43, teased in a new Instagram clip that she just recently “got approved” to cover a song by her favorite artist at the moment, Sombr.
Sombr is an up-and-coming alternative artist known for breakout hits like “Back to Friends” and “Undressed.” The latter recently hit No. 1 on Billboard‘s Hot Rock & Alternative Songs chart back in September.
In a new Instagram clip taken backstage at her eponymous talk show, Clarkson was asked a number of fan-submitted questions, including one about her favorite artist and favorite song to listen to right now.
“Sombr,” Clarkson quickly replied. “I love the whole record,” she added, referring to Sombr’s 2025 album I Barely Know Her.
“And I just got one approved to sing, so I’m very excited,” she continued. “I think we’re doing it next week.”
Clarkson didn’t divulge any further in formation about which of Sombr’s songs she will be covering, so fans will just have to wait until the official “Kellyoke” video comes out.
And while Sombr fans might not know just yet which song Clarkson will perform, they know one thing is for sure: “@sombr is about to get Kelly Clarkson’d,” as one user wrote on Instagram.
