Pacers Sports & Entertainment has hired former WNBAer and current ESPN broadcaster Tamika Catchings as an official ambassador, where she will accentuate business initiatives and be a public presence for the Fever, Pacers and G League Noblesville Boom.

“Indiana has been my home since I was drafted by the Indiana Fever, and Pacers Sports & Entertainment played such an important role in my life and my journey,” said Catchings, who was a 10-time all-star in 16 seasons with the Fever and led them to the 2012 title. “I’m thrilled to step into this new ambassador role and continue serving the communities, families and fans that make this place so special.”

At ESPN, Catchings has been an SEC Network college basketball analyst. But she has also remained based in Indianapolis, where she is owner of Tea’s Me Café and co-founder of the youth sports/literacy development program, Catch the Stars.

PS&E President & CEO Mel Raines said Catchings’ “legacy as a champion along with her deep connection to our fans and her passion for uplifting others align perfectly with our mission.”
