Nana Patekar Leaves O Romeo Event
The trailer launch event for O Romeo was supposed to start at 12:00 PM. While Nana Patekar reached there on time, he was forced to wait for an hour and a half because Shahid Kapoor and Tripti Dimri were late. They arrived at 1:30 PM after launching the poster for the movie.
The tardiness and lack of prior notice didn’t just infuriate fans who were attending, but also Patekar, who was forced to wait for so long. The Welcome actor has never been one to chase stardom blindly. So, he didn’t excuse them for being late either.
“Nana apne signature style me uthe aur kaha ki mujhe 1 ghanta wait karwaya aur chale gaye. Hume bura nahi laga because we know.. That’s what makes Nana Patekar the Nana Patekar,” said Vishal Bhardwaj.
Instead, he walked out of the event. He wasn’t having it, frustrated by how his time was taken for granted. People weren’t going to just wait for the sake of it. The excitement for the trailer is there, but Patekar didn’t think it was worth forcing people, including him, to wait for so long.
Fans are Taking Nana Patekar’s Side
Fans don’t see anything wrong in Nana Patekar walking out of the O Romeo event. They are instead taking his side and supporting his actions. They are applauding him and commending his self-respect.

People are proud of the step taken by Patekar, appreciating how he was able to show that no one’s time should be taken for granted. Time lost is time lost, no matter who it is. He is a veteran actor who is highly respected. He doesn’t do films just because someone is famous and this is just the cherry on top for him.
