Watershed, Washington state’s biggest country music festival, will not be held in 2026, according to an announcement on the festival website.
“After 13 incredible years of country music and community at The Gorge, we wanted to be the first to let you know that Watershed will be taking a hiatus in 2026,” the festival announced on its social media and website Friday. “Any future plans will be announced accordingly.”
The festival, held annually at The Gorge Amphitheatre in Grant County, saw crowds of 20,000 people in 2021, when the festival returned after a pandemic pause. Many festival goers have opted to camp at the event. Country music stars like Tim McGraw, Miranda Lambert, Luke Bryan and Carrie Underwood have taken the stage over the years.
Live Nation Entertainment, which produces the festival and owns and operates The Gorge, did not immediately respond to a request for more information as to why the festival was canceled.
