SoundCorps, a nonprofit organization based in Chattanooga dedicated to fostering a vibrant local music scene, has introduced two new initiatives aimed at supporting regional musicians. The second program is the Producer’s Fund Grant, launched this week. This monthly grant awards $500 to local musicians to help finance their creative projects. Funded through donations, the Producer’s Fund aims to strengthen Chattanooga’s music community by directly investing in artists and their work. The grant supports various needs, including project development, fair compensation for performances, and resources for professional growth. Applications are open from the 1st to the 15th of each month, with winners announced by the 25th. The program was developed in response to feedback from musicians, ensuring that the support provided addresses real community needs.
