Wisdom Teeth has released a collection of new Japanese electronic music.
Curated by Nagoya producer Yuya Abe, AKA abentis, ‘nagoyaka na kaze / 和やかな風 – (quiet wind)’ homes in on a “close-knit community” of the city’s artists, including baptisma, Karnage DHYAN, daiki hayakawa and more. absentis is also featured.
The eight-track compilation — which has its origins in an October 2024 event for the label’s 10 Years of Wisdom Teeth Japan tour – spans new age, ambient, minimal house, and more.
“In a good way, Nagoya is a bit removed from the cutting edge, so you find people making all kinds of music. If you’re making music, you feel like part of the crew, and people of different ages mix together without much hierarchy”, said Karnage in the press notes.

Last year, Facta & K-LONE’s Wisdom Teeth label dropped a compilation of minimal-, micro- and tech-house music, filled with contributions from Polygonia, Ciel, rRoxymore, Ryan Spencer and more.
Meanwhile, the imprint has previously lent its focus to tracks pushing the 150-17-BPM mark, ‘Club Moss‘, and those clocking in below 100PM on ‘To Illustrate‘.
