Valentine’s Day events at Brevard Zoo

- ‘Wild Love Weekend’: Celebrate Valentine’s Day all weekend, Feb. 14 through 16, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m., at Brevard Zoo with themed activities, special chats about love in the animal kingdom and more for the family. Activities are included with zoo admission. Visit brevardzoo.org.
- ‘Wild About You’ dining event: Guests ages 21 and older can enjoy a three-course plated dinner, up-close animal encounter, live dueling pianos and a cash bar at Brevard Zoo from 6 to 9 p.m. Feb. 14. - Kids’ Holiday Hangout: Parents in need of child care from 5 to 8 p.m. on Feb. 14 can drop off their kids ages 5 to 12 for an evening of animal encounters, Valentine-themed games and crafts and a pizza dinner. The cost is $35 for zoo members or $40 for non-members. Visit brevardzoo.org.
- Name a leech: Nothing says “I love you” more than symbolically naming a barnacle, rhino droppings or a leech after a cherished friend, significant other or family member – or an ex, if that speaks to you. ‘From Divas With Love’ at the Henegar Center
The show “From Divas With Love” is Upstairs at the Henegar Center, 625 E. New Haven Ave., Melbourne, through Feb. 22. “From Divas with Love” is a musical revue with chart-topping hits of the ‘50s, ‘60s, ‘70s, ‘80s and today. ‘Valentine Vibes’ concert in Eau Gallie
Melbourne Municipal Band’s Rock & Roll Revue presents “Valentine Vibes” at the Eau Gallie Civic Center, 1551 Highland Ave., at 7 p.m. Feb. 13. Under the direction of Conductor Art Martin, the 12-piece Rock & Roll Revue plays popular music from the 1950s to the 1970s. The ensemble includes an eight-piece combo, vocalist Tony Schillizzi, and the Swingtimers Vocal Trio, consisting of Diana Sageser, Dave Hutson and Robin Krasny. Tickets are $25. ‘Love Notes: Tales of Passion’ concerts in Melbourne
Melbourne Municipal Band presents “Love Notes: Tales of Passion” at the Melbourne Auditorium, 625 E. Hibiscus Blvd., on Feb. 18 and 19 at 7 p.m. The program will feature themes of love and passion explored through music, including Verdi’s “Nabucco Overture,” Gershwin’s “Porgy and Bess,” Porter’s “Night and Day” and Mercury’s “Crazy Little Thing Called Love.” Soprano Rachel Murphy will perform. ‘Lotta Love’ Valentine’s concert in Melbourne

Sweetheart Tea at the Pritchard House

Valentine’s Historic Ghost Tours in Cocoa Village
Hold your sweetheart close as you stroll hand-in-hand beneath the lantern glow and uncover tales of restless spirits and tragic love in Cocoa Village. Past and Presence Tours hosts two Valentine’s Day-themed events on Feb. 14. At 6 p.m. there will be a family ghost tour that is not too frightening for guests of all ages. ‘Legacy of Love’ in Indialantic
The “Legacy of Love” gourmet dinner dance and silent auction will be at Holy Name of Jesus Life Center Hall, 3050 N. Hwy. A1A, Indialantic, from 5:45 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 14.
