Olivia Rodrigo has been out and about in New York City—and so has her favorite woven bag.
As she stepped out in the city yesterday, the singer carried an under-the-radar black shoulder bag that has accompanied her on several occasions this year. The piece in question—an unlined braided offering with a thin strap and fold-over closure—comes from London-based brand Rixo. It was designed in collaboration with Belgian designer Craig Wright’s Dragon Diffusion (known for their woven leather bags handcrafted in India), and it draws inspiration from vintage styles, according to the brand.
The GUTS artist was first seen with her Rixo x Dragon Diffusion piece in July 2025, carrying it around London. Since then, she has brought it to Los Angeles, New York City, and even on vacation, pairing it with a red bikini on a New Year’s Eve trip. Most recently, she wore it to dinner at Mace in Manhattan.
Here, she wore the style with a cozy inter-season look. Her coat, courtesy of one of her go-to designers, Dôen, looked ahead to warmer days. The ’60s-style mod outerwear surely offered plenty of warmth thanks to its thick wool, but at the same time, it evoked a springtime feel with its a pastel lemon-yellow hue, making for the perfect transitional piece this March. It was designed with an A-line cut and faux-fur collar, with oversize patch pockets and a matching belt.
Later, Rodrigo unbuttoned the coat to reveal a black-and-white striped crewneck sweater from Suzie Kondi and dark-wash, flare-denim jeans. For shoes, she went sans socks and slipped into a pair of black Repetto ballet pumps, fashioned with block heels and delicate bow details. She finished off the look with her Winona cap from London bookstore IDEA.
