The Dance Moms alum, 60, laughed off the shocking moment her platinum blonde hairpiece went flying into the wind as she was riding a roller coaster at SeaWorld Orlando, the famous aquatic-themed attraction park in Florida.
A video was shared to SeaWorld Orlando and Miller’s Instagrams to promote the new Penguin Trek ride. In the clip, posted on March 11, Miller said she was wearing a disguise so that she could enjoy the park incognito. Later on, Miller could be seen with a big smile on her face and enjoying the coaster before her wig was snatched from her head. Toward the end of the ride, she points to her head and laughs at the situation.
At the end, Miller rated Penguin Trek at the top of the pyramid (in reference to one of her most iconic Dance Moms quotes), but put herself at the “bottom” because she didn’t have her wig “secured.”
“I know I’m going to hear about it, social media is going to go off on me,” she joked.
Lee has been wearing wigs after she was diagnosed with Burkitt lymphoma, a form of non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma, in 2018 (she revealed to PEOPLE that she was cancer-free in 2019). Because of her condition, Miller shaved off her hair and has also been using an electric wheelchair.

In April 2022, Lee opened up about her hair loss in an empowering Instagram caption of a selfie taken with Jada Pinkett Smith, who lives with the autoimmune disorder alopecia.
“I had a chance to talk to the radiant @jadapinkettsmith and we both agree – it’s just easier to throw on a baseball cap than it is do your hair!” Lee began.
“Whether you lose it all going through rounds of chemotherapy (like I did) or as a result of many other illnesses, functional disorders, too much wear and tear, even a hereditary disposition – you can always be beautiful inside & out!”
