The new Erewhon in West Hollywood has garnered plenty of attention since it opened last month, but a major celebrity sighting on Sunday was a “sweet, sweet fantasy.”
Mariah Carey was spotted strolling through the upscale grocery store in typical Mariah fashion — a face full of makeup, freshly curled hair and high heels.

Some lucky Lambs, the nickname for Carey’s fanbase, got a photo with the five-time Grammy award winner.
Adam Ceschin posted his photo on Instagram on Monday, and in the caption, he said he asked her what she was doing there and the Elusive Chanteuse responded, “I don’t know.”
Fellow fan Drew Staten also posted an Instagram photo, thanking his friend for “insisting” they go to Erewhon because “This wouldn’t have happened at Trader Joe’s.”
According to the celebrity news site Deux Moi, Carey “was filming something” inside the store.
The WeHo Erewhon opened in February and is located on Santa Monica Boulevard near La Cienega Boulevard. It replaced a Sprouts Farmers Market store.
