Noah Kahan was called “chopped” but not “unc” by elementary school kids on Celebrity Substitute

Noah Kahan is getting some honest feedback from kids.
On Wednesday, April 1, the “Stick Season” singer, 29, appeared on the latest episode of Celebrity Substitute, where he got roasted by some elementary school kids.
“I have a couple questions. First question is am I chopped?” Kahan said.
In response, various kids yelled out, “Yes!”
He then asked them if he was “unc” — and the consensus was “no.”

“You look like Jesus,” one kid yelled out.
“I look like Jesus. I know, well, Jesus is watching you guys today, so let’s be on our best behavior,” the “All My Love” singer responded.
According to Merriam-Webster, the slang use of “chopped” means to be “unattractive” or “undesirable.” Meanwhile, “unc” is a person “who is old or aging or who acts old for their age.”
At another point, Kahan asked the kids if they had ever heard of him — and a child named Journey knew his name.
“Thank you Journey, so much. Journey is awesome and has really cool taste,” he said.
During his appearance on the show, Kahan taught the elementary school kids the art of storytelling and encouraged them to find inspiration through art. Then, they re-wrote his unreleased song “Deny, Deny, Deny” and performed it for their teachers.
Kahan’s appearance on Celebrity Substitute comes ahead of the premiere of his Netflix documentary Out of Body on April 13.

“My life was filmed for a year and a half. It was weird, difficult, and genuinely beautiful to experience. I’m excited for you guys to see it too. This documentary captures so much more than I ever thought the world would see about myself, my creative journey and my family,” Kahan wrote.
He continued, “I am nervous about it because it’s personal and some things I touch on are painful to think about and be reminded of. I remember though that anything scary or hard is usually worth sharing with the world. Maybe it will reach one of you in a time when you need it. Maybe you’ll see some of your own family in mine. Either way, I hope you love it.”
His newest studio album, The Great Divide, is out on April 24. So far, he’s released singles “The Great Divide” and “Porch Light.”
