“He is nothing if not completely honest with me. I trust him with my children’s lives, with my grandchildren’s lives, my nieces and nephews. He is an honorable, caring, generous human being,” she said.

According to legal documents, the accuser said that he was 7 years old when he worked with Busfield on the since-canceled series. Busfield allegedly touched the child several times, and the young actor was “very afraid of Tim and was relieved when he was off set.”
Busfield was indicted by a grand jury in New Mexico in February on four counts of criminal sexual contact of a child. He pleaded not guilty. He could face up to 15 years in prison if convicted. His trial is currently scheduled to begin in May 2027.
