Adam Thomas is returning to I’m A Celebrity jungle as he battled for the crown on the spin-off show in South Africa
Adam Thomas has established himself as a recognisable presence on British television since emerging as a teenage talent.
The performer launched his career following an appearance on BBC’s Doctors in 2002, though he’s particularly recognised for portraying Donte Charles in Waterloo Road and Adam Barton in Emmerdale.
Subsequently, the actor has grown into a popular personality and has featured in numerous successful programmes, with Adam now confirmed to appear in the second series of the I’m A Celebrity All Stars spin-off.
He travelled to South Africa alongside fellow celebrities including Scarlett Moffatt, Harry Redknapp and Gemma Collins for the pre-recorded programme last year, which broadcasts tonight (April 6) on ITV at 9pm.
His initial appearance came during the 16th series of the popular reality programme in 2016, when he exchanged the Yorkshire Dales for the jungle and secured third position.
During that first appearance, he earned the moniker “Mr Bushtucker Trial” after completing a record-breaking 12 challenges, representing the highest number for any single participant in the programme’s history.

Adam continued: “From meal preps to keeping me on top of my medication (yes, I still can’t inject myself), deep chats sitting in the bath together, trying to solve life like we actually know what we’re doing.
“We’ve laughed, we’ve cried, we’ve argued (obviously), but I wouldn’t change a single bit of it. I adore that after all these years, you’re still the person I want to talk to first, laugh with the most, and be completely myself around”
He finished: “I told you this morning, and I’ll say it again, I love growing with you! And massive congratulation s on winning Family Member of the Month, well deserved. Haha Keep up the good work. I love you @carolinethomas23.”
