14 Hidden Details From Sabrina Carpenter’s “House Tour” Music Video That You Might Have Missed

The official music video for Sabrina Carpenter’s “House Tour,” featuring Margaret Qualley and Madelyn Cline, is finally here. And there are a LOT of hidden details in the music video that you probably missed. For example, did you know it was directed by both Sabrina and Margaret, making the music video Sabrina’s directorial debut?

Well, for those of you who didn’t catch all of the secrets and Easter eggs in the video, you’re in the right place. We’ve gathered 14 of the cleverest (and most Sabrina-like) details from the music video that link to Sabrina’s past music videos, famous movies, and even her real life. So, let’s dive in:

1. First, at the start of the video, Sabrina wears the same shoes as she did in the “Tears” music video. They’re even still bloody from when she killed her unnamed boyfriend at the end of it:

2. During the heist, Sabrina steals a Grammy Award, which fans have pointed out could be a playful way of suggesting she was robbed of her Grammy for Man’s Best Friend.

3. The license plate on the getaway car is an innuendo (BKDRH8R = back door hater, meaning… you know):

4. The book Margaret is reading to Sabrina while she’s in the bathtub is Are You There God? It’s Me, Margaret:

Two people in a luxurious bathroom: one in a bubble-filled tub, smiling; the other in lingerie, sitting on the tub's edge, reading a book

5. The Mona Lisa appearance references Sabrina’s song of the same name from her third studio album, Singular: Act I, in which she sings in the chorus, “Don’t leave me hanging like the Mona Lisa”:

Three people admire a framed painting in a gallery setting

6. During the first chorus, when Sabrina sings, “I could take you to the first, second, third floor,” she subtly references the first, second, and third “bases” of kissing, above the waist, below the waist, and so on…):

7. While not related to Sabrina herself, many noticed how Margaret included what appears to be a sneaky reference to her character, “Sue,” in The Substance, as she drinks red wine and then it starts spilling out of her mouth like blood:

A person with long hair and hoop earrings smiles softly with theatrical blood on their mouth, standing before a floral backdrop

8. Fans noticed how the video’s concept felt reminiscent of the 2013 Sofia Coppola crime film, The Bling Ring:

9. The lightning bolt on the front door seems to be a nod to the lyric, “I bet your light rod’s, like, bigger than Zeus’s” from “When Did You Get Hot?”:

10. The letter left by the crew at the end of the video says, “Thank you for having us! We had the best stay and will be sure to recommend to all of our friends! — pretty girl cleanup”:

A note with lipstick imprint and a spider. It thanks someone for a stay and mentions recommending to friends, signed "Fancy Girl Camping."

11. As the women flee the scene at the end of the video, you can see a “Just Robbed a House” sign where you’d usually see a “Just Married!” sign on the back of the van:

12. Madelyn Cline and Margaret Qualley’s pool pose appears to be a cheeky nod to Sabrina’s famous concert bit, where, as she sings the lyric, “Have you ever tried this one?” while performing “Juno,” she does a different *** position every time:

13. Sabrina, Madelyn, and Margaret have their own crew name, written on the side of the getaway van as “Pretty Girl Clean-Up,” along with a lyric from “House Tour” as their slogan (“Where your dreams come true!”):

14. And finally, Sabrina holds up the fan-favorite tradition of killing at least one man in all her music videos:
