With the highly anticipated sequel less than a month away from its May 1 premiere, Today show viewers got an unexpected scoop about a familiar face set to appear on the big screen.
Craig Melvin lets slip on Today about Jenna Bush Hager’s cameo on The Devil Wears Prada 2
Co-host Craig Melvin accidentally revealed that Jenna Bush Hager has a cameo role in The Devil Wears Prada 2, sending his colleague into a panic during the Wednesday live broadcast. “By the way, you know how that movie’s going to be good? You know how I can tell?” said Melvin. “JBH is in it!”
A stunned Hager immediately responded, “I don’t know that you were supposed to drop that bomb, but if you’re …” before the moment dissolved into laughter. Savannah Guthrie jumped in to needle Melvin for his loose lips. “This is live. You cannot tell Craig anything!” said Guthrie, teasing: “Why don’t you read my journal while you’re at it?”
