Sabrina Carpenter once again graced the American Express stage at Austin City Limits Music Festival weekend two — and this time, she was joined by more than just one special guest.
As the crowd roared, the Chicks appeared beside her onstage.

With a bit of twang and a lot of heart, they performed the group’s 1998 hit “Wide Open Spaces.”
The Chicks are native to Dallas, and many of their songs reference their Texas roots. Singer Natalie Maines’ father, the singer-songwriter and producer Lloyd Maines, is based in Austin.
Country icon Shania Twain was Carpenter’s surprise cameo last week — and much like this Saturday, no one guessed the special guest correctly. Last week, the duo sang Twain’s 1997 hit, “That Don’t Impress Me Much.” Twain rocked a black and yellow Western getup, studded cowboy hat and all.
On Saturday, Carpenter opened the show wearing a black-and-white plaid vest adorned with glittering red tassels, a departure from the yellow gingham she wore weekend one.
Meanwhile her fans were dolled up in sparkly denim and plenty of pink.
The target of Saturday night’s “Juno” arrest was British singer Olivia Dean, who played on the same stage earlier in the day. Dean’s crime? Being “too beautiful,” Carpenter said with a grin.
At her debut last weekend, Carpenter playfully cuffed fellow ACL Fest artist Joe Keery — or Djo. Dating rumors quickly started swirling when the pair followed each other on Instagram.
The rumors intensified when Carpenter was spotted at Djo’s ACL Live performance Friday night.
