I’m a Celebrity… South Africa viewers reckon Gemma Collins could win the ITV show.
The former TOWIE star has returned to the jungle for the all-stars edition of the programme, revealing that she was seeking “redemption” after walking out of the main series after just three days back in 2014.
She has continued to impress fans with her antics in camp, and after she comforted her campmate David Haye when he failed his latest trial, viewers are predicting that she could win the whole thing.
Boxer David lost out in the Wicked Watering Hole trial, admitting afterwards that he didn’t like losing and that it would “eat him up for a while”. Gemma went over to console him – a move that surprised fans as David hasn’t been her biggest supporter in camp so far.
“I think Gemma is having a redemption arc which has come as quite a surprise to me,” one person posted on X after watching it unfold.

“I would have Gemma winning this series, tbh never thought I would say that, enjoying her this series,” someone else said on the platform, which was formerly Twitter.
“Gemma I’ve never been a fan of but how sweet was she with David tonight!” said someone else. Another person admitted: “I misjudged Gemma and I think she’s brilliant TV. Also wouldn’t be mad if she won.”
Someone else said: “Must admit Gemma Collins is pretty funny, never used to like her but can see her winning this show.” “Gemma Collins is absolutely brilliant,” declared another fan, as others said that she was “smashing” camp life.

The fact that Gemma flew into the show in a helicopter also impressed fans.
It was a challenge for her as she had panicked about travelling in one in her original series of I’m a Celebrity, which is hosted by presenting duo Ant and Dec.
“Obsessed with Gemma overcoming her fear of helicopters within 4 minutes of being on the show!” one viewer noted.
