When it comes to live shows, Jamey Johnson is the true keeper of the flame in traditional country. There are many other performers out there tearing down the road. But a Jamey Johnson concert isn’t just a “show.” It’s a sermon on country music where he spends some time featuring his own songs for sure, but then shares the Gospel and virtues of the country music canon with a very large band behind him.
Jamey Johnson will be hitting the road once again in 2026, and this time has new songs to feature from his late 2024 album Midnight Gasoline. He also just released a rendition of the song “Pretty When It’s New” in tribute to Merle Haggard and the 10th Anniversary of Merle’s passing. Johnson also released a few other singles in 2025 and 2026, and don’t be surprised if a new album is on the way here soon.
The 31 new tour dates start in Hiawassee, GA on May 8th and currently run to October 11th in Verona, NY, but don’t be surprised if more get added. The tour also marks the 20th Anniversary of Jamey Johnson releasing his debut album The Dollar.
