York Art Association’s reborn inside York’s beloved Little Green Church
York Art Association officially broke ground on a $2M renovation project of the former Trinity Lutheran Church at 591 Linden Ave.

According to the National Weather Service, the weekend forecast calls for high temperatures in the 70s and 80s on Friday and Saturday. There’s a chance of showers on Sunday with slightly lower temperatures in the 60s.

Go Green in the City Festival – 10 a.m.-3 p.m., Saturday, April 18, North and South Beaver Streets, Downtown York – The annual eco‑focused street festival returns to downtown York with more than 50 vendors, live music, food, kids’ activities, and sustainability exhibits celebrating green, healthy and local living. Admission is free.

Pennsylvania Herb & Garden Festival – 11 a.m.–5 p.m., Friday, April 17 and 9 a.m.–4 p.m. Saturday, April 18, York Expo Center, All Trans Memorial Hall, 334 Carlisle Ave. – The two‑day festival features nationally recognized speakers, plant and garden vendors, demonstrations and workshops. Trout Fishing in America Family Concert – 11 a.m., Saturday, April 18, Strand Theatre, Appell Center for the Performing Arts, 50 N. George St. – The Grammy‑nominated folk duo brings its interactive, family‑friendly show to the Strand Theatre as part of the Appell Center’s daytime programming. Tickets available are $10-$15 HERE.
Dills Celtic Festival – 4:30 p.m. – 9 p.m., Friday, April 17, and 10 a.m. – 6:30 p.m. Saturday, April 18, Dills Tavern, 227 N. Baltimore St., Dillsburg – Held at a historic tavern site, the festival celebrates Celtic heritage with live music, dancing, food and cultural demonstrations. Fat Back Weekend Lover Oyster Festival – Noon to 6 p.m., Saturday, April 18, Fat Bat Brewing Co., 101 S.
