Piers Morgan’s podcast show is launching a new royal series that will air within weeks. It has been confirmed this week that Piers Morgan Uncensored, hosted by the broadcaster himself, will launch a new royal spin-off series called The Royals Uncensored on April 30.
This series will be hosted by journalists Katie Nicholl and Jo Elvin, and promises to bring “unparalleled insight into the ever-evolving world of the British monarchy”. The series will see many discussions about the monarchy take place, with those with insider information – including ex royal staff – also set to contribute to the programme.
Speaking ahead of the launch later this month, Piers Morgan said: “Harnessing the in-house expertise of our team and building on the rapid growth of PMU, Royals Uncensored is the latest step in the evolution of the Uncensored brand.”
He continued: “Katie and Jo are the perfect duo to wade into royal waters, as they have an unparalleled journalistic pedigree, fantastic insider knowledge and authenticity which I’m sure will appeal to royal watchers on both sides of the Atlantic.”
As well as Katie and Jo hosting the show, former royal butler Grant Harrold, who served King Charles when he was the Prince of Wales between 2004 and 2011, will also be a key contributor to the podcast.
Speaking about the upcoming spin-off series, host Katie Nicholl said: “I am thrilled to be part of The Royals Uncensored – a show that will take you beyond Palace press releases and to the heart of the biggest royal stories of the day.

Jo, who previously hosted the Daily Mail’s Palace Confidential show, added: “The Royals Uncensored is destined to become every royal fan’s unmissable new watch.
“Katie, Grant and I are fully energised and ready to deliver insightful, topical and, naturally, uncensored royal news and views.”
The series is set to launch on April 30.
