Top 10 things to do in Cincinnati this weekend, May 1-3, 2026

Lace up your running shoes for Flying Pig Marathon Weekend.

Whether you’re hitting the course or just showing your support, come out and celebrate with the community, and don’t forget to stick around for the post-race victory party. The fiesta doesn’t stop there with Cincy-Cinco returning this weekend and the Run for the Roses Party on Derby Day.

Round out your weekend with some shopping at the Tri-State Antique Market or head to the Cincinnati Zoo to meet the newest fur babies.

Here are the top 10 things happening around town this weekend.

1. Flying Pig Marathon Weekend

Gear up for Cincinnati’s biggest race, so big it spans an entire weekend. Sign up for a run, whether you’re tackling 1 mile or all 26, or simply come out and cheer from the sidelines.

Flying Pig Health and Fitness Expo: 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Friday, 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Saturday, First Financial Center, 525 Elm Street, Downtown.

Fifty West Mile: 7 p.m. Friday, Transit Tunnel, ends on Mehring Way, Downtown. Participants receive a shirt, two Fifty West Brewing Company beer tickets and a Skyline Chili cheese coney. Finishers receive a medal that doubles as a bottle opener.

10K: 7 a.m. Saturday, Mehring Way, Downtown.

Flying Pig Family Fun Festival: 7:30 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, Smale Riverfront Park, 166 W. Mehring Way, Downtown. See live performances from musician Zak Morgan, interactive games, dance parties, kids vs. parents challenges, a photo booth and giveaways.

5K: 9 a.m. Saturday, Mehring Way, Downtown.

Flying Piglet: 10 a.m. Saturday, Smale Riverfront Park, 166 W. Mehring Way, Downtown. For ages under 7.

Flying Fur: 11 a.m. Saturday, Mehring Way, Downtown. Humans will receive a shirt, limited-edition poster and virtual goodie bag. Finishers will receive a medal, mylar blanket and finish-area refreshments.

The 26th Mile: noon Saturday, Freedom Way, Downtown. Youth program for school-aged children to participate in Flying Pig Marathon Weekend.

PigAbilities: 1 p.m. Saturday, Freedom Way, Downtown. Participants receive a shirt, finisher medal, limited-edition poster and a Flying Pig premium item.

Flying Pig Marathon, Half Marathon, 4-Person Relay: 6:30 a.m. Sunday, Rosa Parks Street, Downtown.

Victory Party: 8 a.m.-3 p.m. Sunday, Smale Riverfront Park, 166 W. Mehring Way, Downtown.

2. Cincy-Cinco Latino Cultural Festival

Immerse yourself in the vibrant Latino culture. Each day will feature a fantastic array of food and live salsa, merengue and bachata music. See vibrant folkloric performances representing Mexico, Brazil and Panama. Activities include games, raffles and piñatas.

3. Run for the Roses Party

Enjoy live music from The Recipe on The Plaza. Watch the Kentucky Derby on the jumbo LED screen. Place your bets for a chance to win prizes. After the race, grab drinks and food with specials available at nearby restaurants and bars.

4. Tri-State Antique Market

Shop antiques and vintage collectibles from over 125 dealers at this monthly show.

5. Zoo Babies

Celebrate the newest additions to the Cincinnati Zoo, big and small babies alike, in their exhibits this month.

6. Prost to Spring at Maifest

Welcome spring with Bavarian flavor, live music in the biergarten and the keg tapping of Jubilaum Anniversary Lager.

Senior designers from the College of DAAP at the University of Cincinnati will showcase their fashion designs on the runway.

9. Cincinnati Pops’ ‘The Music of Star Wars’
