Princess Eugenie is going to be a mom again! Today, the royal announced that she is expecting her third child with husband Jack Brooksbank. She shared the happy news on Instagram, with a photo of her little sons looking adorable while holding an ultrasound image of their future sibling.
“Baby Brooksbank due 2026! ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️👶🏻♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️” Eugenie wrote.
Eugenie and Brooksbank met all the way back in 2010 during a ski trip in Verbier, Switzerland. They were introduced by mutual friends and fell quickly in love, with Eugenie once describing their connection as “love at first sight.”
The two married on October 12, 2018 at St George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle, the same venue where Prince Harry and Meghan Markle had wed just five months earlier. Their royal wedding was a lavish, festive affair attended by royals from all over the United Kingdom. (Look back on the day here.)
Three years after their nuptials, in February 2021, the couple welcomed their first child, son August Philip Hawke Brooksbank. And in May 2023, they gave August a brother, whom they named Ernest George Ronnie Brooksbank.
Now, another little one is joining their family.
Edoardo Mapelli Mozzi, the husband of Eugenie’s sister, Princess Beatrice, commented on Eugenie’s Instagram post with a simple: “❤️❤️❤️.”
The princess’ announcement came just hours after she shared a series of candid photos on her Instagram Story to celebrate her husband’s birthday. “Happy 40th my love,” she wrote over a photo of Brooksbank lounging on a beach.
Congratulations to the happy family!
