Matt Damon brings back boozy impression in ‘SNL’ return, promises third Trump term. Watch here.

Saturday Night Live has always had a knack for getting celebrities to do impressions. Their most recent episode was no exception.

When Matt Damon returned to host SNL for a third time, he also brought back one of his best impersonations. The May 9 episode’s cold open featured Colin Jost as Secretary of Defense Pete Hegseth in a bar, lamenting that no one in the Trump administration drinks as much as he does.

That’s when Damon burst in as Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh.

Damon previously played Kavanaugh back in 2018. Kavanaugh has been accused of sexual assault and was ridiculed during his confirmation hearings for repeatedly talking about how much he loved beer.

“What is up! Order, order in the court,” Damon said as he sat down wearing his robe and banged his gavel on the bar in Saturday’s episode. “I find in favor of six Bud Lights and three shots of Jamo!”

Damon’s Kavanaugh said he thought he might find Hegseth there, because “I just saw all the women covering their drinks!” Hegseth was investigated for sexual assault in 2017 and paid the accuser $50,000.

“Hahaha, that could be you too buddy,” Jost’s Hegseth retorted. “It’s just great that we share that,” he added, and the two then bragged about “starting a war” and ending abortion in the United States.

Aziz Ansari then entered the bar, reviving his impression of FBI Director Kash Patel, whose tenure has been marred by multiple reports of alcohol abuse.

Damon eventually dropped the biggest punchline of all.

“Hey, since we’re opening up, can I tell you guys something top secret?” Damon said. “We’re gonna let Trump do a third term.”

When Hegseth pointed out it would be unconstitutional,” Damon explained, “Yeah, it was. But Trump found the original Constitution and at the end he wrote, ‘Sike!’”
