Tribeca wraps up June 14.
He’s one of the most in-demand actors around — starring in everything from Netflix’s The Four Seasons, HBO’s Euphoria, Steven Spielberg’s Disclosure Day, and the Michael Jackson biopic Michael — and now, Colman Domingo is headed to the 25th Annual Tribeca Film Festival as the guest on the first-ever live recording of Entertainment Weekly‘s The Awardist podcast.
The actor will sit down for an in-depth and candid conversation about his incredible career with me and my special guest cohost, Tribeca Festival Director and SVP of Programming Cara Cusumano, for a one-hour bonus edition of the weekly podcast, where we chat about industry and awards news, and I speak with a contender for the current awards season.
Domingo is a two-time Oscar, BAFTA, and Golden Globe nominee (for Sing Sing and Rustin), a two-time Tony nominee (for The Scottsboro Boys and Fat Ham), and an Emmy winner for Euphoria, which just wrapped up its three-season run. His many credits also include Fear the Walking Dead, The Color Purple, Ma Rainey’s Black Bottom, Selma, and If Beale Street Could Talk.
The Awardist live recording is part of Tribeca’s Storytelling Summit, which features filmmakers, actors, and more with the creative community; this year’s panels also include Zach Braff, Lily Rabe and Hamish Linklater, Amber Ruffin, and many more.
The 2026 Tribeca Film Festival kicked off June 3 with Questlove’s documentary Earth, Wind & Fire (To Be Celestial vs. That’s the Weight of the World), and wraps up June 14 with Alicia Keys: Girl From Hell’s Kitchen.
