Among the A-list lineup are Anthony Anderson, Ariana Madix, Alan Cumming, Tiffany Haddish, Connie Britton, Josh Hart, Ice-T, Wayne Brady, Karamo Brown, Constance Wu, Darren Criss, The Miz, Dorinda Medley and Luann de Lesseps. Savannah Guthrie will also appear on the show, which was filmed in August 2025.
“We couldn’t be more excited to return to Password,” Fallon, 51, and Palmer, 32, said in a joint statement to NBC Insider. “It’s the only show where you get to lock eyes with a total stranger and think, ‘OK, based on absolutely nothing, we’re going to bet that you understand that when one of us says ‘fluffy,’ we mean ‘pillow.’”
“We love working with each other so much and are taking it to another level this season with bigger guests, wilder guesses and guaranteed laughs,” the statement continued.
In 2023, Palmer won an Emmy for Outstanding Host for a Game Show and became the first woman in 15 years to do so. “I’m really just so thankful, I’m almost speechless,” she said in her acceptance speech. “I just want to give a huge thanks, obviously, to the people that allowed this to happen. Thank you to Jimmy Fallon for being an awesome friend and mentor. I really couldn’t do it without him.”
Stars like Meghan Trainor, Martin Short, Joe Manganiello, Yvette Nicole Brown, Jon Hamm, Heidi Klum, Laverne Cox and Chance the Rapper have made appearances on the first two seasons.
Guthrie’s appearance on Password will be her first time onscreen besides on the Today show since her mother’s disappearance earlier this year. On Feb. 1, Nancy Guthrie was taken from her Arizona home, and the search for her is now in its 15th week. Shortly after her mother was reported missing, Savannah, 54, took an absence from the morning show. Savannah returned to her spot on Today after more than two months on April 6.
On Monday, May 11, Savannah confirmed that she’ll host NBC’s new game show version of The New York Times’ Wordle, which will premiere in 2027. Fallon is an executive producer on that show.
