Just a few weeks ago, in mid-April, Christopher Meloni started tearing up in a raw video after learning about the cancelation of his crime drama, Law & Order: Organized Crime.
“Hey everyone, I just saw that they announced OC, Organized Crime won’t be coming back,” Meloni said. “So I wanted to take this moment to say thank you to the fans, who not only helped give the character of Elliot Stabler life and longevity, but for sticking with him and welcoming him back.”
“Good ride,” he added, as his eyes appeared to well up. Oof.
Sadly, Meloni is not alone in saying goodbye to a fan-favorite television show. In fact, in the first few weeks of May 2026 alone, it was revealed that, like Law & Order: O.C., four major shows wouldn’t be getting additional seasons, including The Bear.
