Camille Grammer is opening up about the aftermath of her split from ex-husband Kelsey Grammer.
On the May 18 episode of Cynthia Bailey and Crystal Kung Minkoff’s Humble Brag podcast, Camille, 57, shared that she hasn’t spoken to Kelsey, 71, in 14 years. The exes wed in 1997 and split in 2010, after Kelsey admitted to having an affair with flight attendant Kayte Walsh, whom he later married.
“And when you ask me about the ‘I’m sorry,’ or the remorse, he said to me — he sent me a text saying, ‘I feel no remorse for what I am doing,’ ” Camille revealed. “And that was very harsh because I was very much in love with him, and I believed he was very much in love with me.”
Camille — who shares daughter Mason, 24, and son Jude, 21, with the Frasier star — said that she and Kelsey did have “many good years” and “a lot of fun times” in their marriage before the contentious split.
“I was broken. I broke, I’m gonna be honest, I broke, and I think I broke when the show was airing, because I was getting it from all sides,” she said.
Camille was part of the original cast of The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, and her split from Kelsey was documented on the Bravo show.

“I don’t feel like I was getting a break — ’cause the show, the fans, the audience. Then, bigger than that, it’s Kelsey’s people — his machine behind him to protect his image — that were on full force.”
“I remember calling him, saying, ‘Get your dogs off me, get your bulldogs off me. ‘Cause I don’t wanna keep reading this horrible stuff that you’re putting out there with your posse to protect your image,’ ” she added.
Camille said she felt like she “kept getting kicked from every angle” and “couldn’t come up for air,” comparing the experience to “being thrown in the middle of the ocean without a life raft and drowning.”
It was so difficult that she told RHOBH producers, “I don’t know how I’m gonna stay alive through this,” she revealed on the podcast. “That’s how dark it got and how upset I was, like almost suicidal, but not quite,” she said. ‘Cause I would never commit suicide, but I felt like, how do I get out of this? Because I wasn’t getting any help.”

Following her split from the actor, Camille married attorney David Meyer in 2018.
Since marrying Walsh, 47, in 2011, Kelsey has welcomed four more kids — Faith, 12, Gabriel, 10, James, 8, and Christopher, born in the fall of 2025.
“The family’s ecstatic. We’re all really having a great time,” the Cheers alum told PEOPLE of the newborn at the time. “It’s really lovely.”
