According to Hits Daily Double, the final projected numbers for the Billboard 200 albums chart are in, and now we have a clearer idea of whether Drake’s Habibti or Maid of Honour will claim the No. 2 spot behind Iceman.
Iceman is projected to sell 459.9K units in its first week, making it clear which of Drake’s history-making trilogy of records will claim the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart for the week ending Thursday (May 21). The final projections show that Habiti is projected to secure the No. 2 spot with 114.1K units, while Maid of Honour is expected to debut at No. 3 with 109.1K units.
The projected combined total for the trilogy is 683.1K units across the 43 songs he released, without vinyls or merch bundles, and driven solely by streaming and digital purchases—making Iceman the biggest rap album debut since Travis Scott’s 2023 album Utopia, which sold 496K units in its first week.
The numbers have yet to be finalized, but at this point, it’s all but certain that Drizzy will be the first artist to ever debut three new albums in the top 3 spots of the Billboard 200 charts. There’s a chance that the No. 2 and No. 3 spots could change when the chart is officially unveiled by Billboard next week.
The other two albums in the trilogy, Habibti and Maid of Honour, were surprise-dropped after Drake premiered Episode 4 of his Iceman livestream series, during which he showcased music videos for the majority of Iceman. Each album sees Drake focusing on a different aspect of his music, allowing Drake to cater to fans with club-ready anthems with Maid of Honour, heavy lyrical rap tracks with Iceman, and R&B-leaning songs with Habibti.
After a streaming calculation error was retracted and corrected by Spotify, “Make Them Cry” still stands as the most-streamed song in a single day on Spotify in 2026 with 13.2 million streams, surpassing Kendrick Lamar’s 2024 diss track “Not Like Us.”
Drake is also set to surpass Michael Jackson for the most Billboard Hot 100 No. 1 songs by a male solo artist of all time with a different song. Multiple songs from Iceman, including the fan-favorite “Janice STFU,” are expected to contend for the No. 1 spot that could break the tie with MJ.
