Hilary Duff certainly knows how to make a comeback. The “Mature” singer showed up all glammed out at the American Music Awards on May 25, wearing a dazzling metallic dress that cements her return as reigning pop princess.
The Lizzie McGuire actress made her return to the AMAs for the first time in 21 years, per People. She looked absolutely stunning in a floor-length silver gown with a plunging neckline and shimmering style that matched her heels, with her long blond hair hanging loosely around her shoulders. With her new album, luck … or something, her upcoming world tour, and her amazing fashion, it’s clear that Duff is officially a popstar once again!

In an interview with Billboard at the event, Duff teased her upcoming tour. “There’s definitely some surprises,” she revealed, adding, “I think the best thing about this whole new era for me is just seeing the fans again and getting to feel that excitement and that love and people just having a night out that feels like a celebration and a reunion.”
The “Roommates” singer first teased her return to pop music in September 2025, with fans writing things like “[she’s] here to save pop music,” per Billboard. Reacting to that moment, Duff told the outlet in February 2026, “That was not even real life. I was like, ‘What the f— is happening? Some bot did this.’ It was not a normal day.”
Its clear we aren’t the only ones excited about Duff’s return!
