There was no on-set romance for Office Romance stars Jennifer Lopez and Brett Goldstein.
The charming duo’s flirty press tour has made the entire internet start shipping the stars of Netflix’s new rom-com, to the point that Today host Savannah Guthrie pressed them on the rumors during Tuesday morning’s show.
“There’s never a time where I’m seen with somebody or working with somebody where they don’t try to put me with the person,” Lopez responded, with Goldstein adding, “I think if you stand near her, that’s what happens. That’s why I’ve been standing so close this whole time.” (That’s not going to help silence the talk!)
Guthrie didn’t move on, contending that neither of them answered the question, to which Lopez quickly retorted, “That was an answer!”

The actress continued to vent about the fictional pairings that she often finds herself in. “I think I was with Kevin Costner this year,” she said. “I was with a lot of people. It happens all the time. Doesn’t make it true.”
She then confirmed that she and Goldstein are “not dating.”
The rumors to the contrary were sparked by Lopez declaring Goldstein to be her best onscreen kisser and Goldstein constantly gushing over his longtime love for Lopez. But after being married four times, including a recent highly publicized divorce from Ben Affleck, Lopez revealed last week how happy she is to finally be single.
“I should have done it sooner. I’ve been doing it all wrong,” she told Jimmy Kimmel. “I’m not doing anything to ruin how I feel right now. It’s fantastic, I love it… I’ll meet somebody, somewhere one day, if they’re good enough.”
Meanwhile, later in the Today interview, Guthrie mixed up the papers with her interview prep, and she admitted that she got “flustered” by Lopez, who joked that it was payback for the earlier questioning. “You tried to fluster us,” Lopez said, “and we flustered you!”
Office Romance premieres Friday on Netflix.
