FUSE Glass Artist Residency Exhibition | June 1

JamFactory and partner Carrick Hill present the 2026 FUSE Glass Artist Residency Exhibition showcasing Melbourne based glass artist Nadège Desgenétez.

Awarded biennially in alternate years to the FUSE Glass Prize, the FUSE Glass Artist Residency aims to create significant opportunities for established, mid-career artists working in glass. Valued at more than $20,000 the residency provides studio access in JamFactory’s Glass Studio and a solo exhibition at Historic House Museum and Garden, Carrick Hill.

CuttleFest | from June 1

Whyalla’s iconic winter festival, CuttleFest, returns this June and July for unique coastal experiences with fascinating marine life. The festival, which shines a spotlight on Australian Giant Cuttlefish, takes place during the annual migration of the species, which congregates for breeding in Whyalla, the only known location where this happens in the world.

Where: various locations across Whyalla
When: Festival takes place from Monday 1 June to Friday 31 July, 2026. Salty ‘Sea’esta is on Saturday 6 June, from 11am – 4pm at Ada Ryan Gardens.

Matt Corby tour | June 3

Australian indie artist Matt Corby is officially heading back on the road, announcing a brand new national tour set to hit the city this June.

The Tragic Magic Tour will see the ARIA Award-winning artist perform at Thebarton Theatre on Wednesday, June 3rd, marking his return to local stages with what’s expected to be one of his most intimate and powerful live shows yet.

The tour celebrates Matt’s upcoming fourth studio album Tragic Magic, due for release on April 17th, and promises a new chapter from one of Australia’s most distinctive voices.

Italian Winter Festival 2026

As the weather turns from crisp Autumn leaves to frosty winter chills, the Italian Winter Festival is set to return to Victoria Park Social Club for the June long weekend, bringing live entertainment and full carnival vibes to Rose Park. From June 4 to June 7, the Club will come alive with the sights, sounds and smells of Italy.

Beginning on Thursday with a pizza night to get the party started, the main Carnevale event takes place from Friday through to Sunday, with a live Italian band from 6-9pm each night.

When: Thursday 4 June and Friday 5 June, from 3pm – late, & Saturday 6 June and Sunday 7 June, from 12pm – late.

Allison DuBois The Cold Case Australian Tour | June 6

Fasten your seatbelts, folks, because this may just be the most exciting thing you hear this week…World-famous psychic, Allison DuBois, is coming to the Land Down Under, and we were lucky enough to score a personal interview with her.

Allison, a psychic medium with a bone-chilling gift, considers herself a “Secretary to the Dead”. Who wouldn’t be interested in an event where someone can communicate with lost loved ones and pass on mystical messages? Allison, who hails from Arizona, USA, has written several books about her gift and even inspired the hit NBC TV show, Medium. Now, she’s coming to Australia.

Winter Wine Down | June 6

Renmark is warming things up this winter with the launch of Winter Wine Down, a brand-new festival bringing red wine, live music and riverside vibes together on the Murray this June.

Created by the crew behind the Riverland Food and Wine Festival, Sarez Pty Ltd is adding a cosy new vibe to the region’s winter events calendar, transforming the Renmark Riverfront into a celebration of local wine, food and entertainment on Saturday, June 6th.

The Bubbles Festival | June 6

If there’s ever a telltale sign of a friend group that knows how to have fun, it’s the ones who need very little convincing to pop a cork, pour something crisp and bright, and turn an ordinary afternoon into a load of fun.

It’s those friends that you’re going to want to call for the 2026 return of Adelaide’s premier sparkling wine event. The Bubbles Festival is back in Adelaide for 2026, bringing a two-hour celebration of champagne, sparkling wine, canapés and a whole heap of fun to the stunning surrounds of Ayers House on Saturday 6 June.

Victor Harbor Valhalla Festival | June 6 & 7

If ship burnings, axe throwing and markets sound like your ideal weekend, then there’s a new festival rolling into town that you won’t want to miss this winter.

The Dark Ages are heading to Victor Harbor in June, with a brand-new Viking-inspired festival set to transform a slice of the town into a world of warriors, mead and fire. The inaugural Valhalla Festival will take over Kent Reserve with two days of Norse-inspired fun, entertainment and immersive experiences, all leading up to a dramatic Viking ship burning on Saturday night.

Day Dance | June 6 & 7

If you’ve ever found yourself boogying away the June long weekend at McLaren Vale’s iconic Day Dance festival with your friends around you and a glass of wine in hand, then I’m sure you’ve already booked a ticket for this year. But if the world of Day Dance is something you’ve yet to stumble across, please, let me enlighten you.

The much-loved McLaren Vale festival is returning this June long weekend for two huge days of music, food, wine and wonderfully chaotic energy across Simon Hackett Winery and neighbouring venue Tipi Lane.

Gin Fest | June 6

Gin lovers, this ones for you. Glen Ewin Estate is bringing its annual Gin Fest back to the Adelaide Hills this June, transforming its historic Pulpshed into a full-day celebration of local distillers, tastings, music and party-ready energy.

Taking place on Saturday 6 June 2026, the event will run from 11.30am to 7pm at Glen Ewin Estate, giving guests the chance to sip their way through a line-up of South Australian gin makers while soaking up the atmosphere of one of the Hills’ most recognisable venues.

Urban Cocktail Trail | June 6

Grab your girlfriends, throw on your frocks, and strut around the city this June, as the Urban Cocktail Trail returns to Adelaide.

In 2025, the Neighbourhood Events Co. team took the ‘Cocktail Trail’ to Henley Beach, which proved to be a fun and glamorous beachside affair. Now, they’re bringing the concept back to the CBD, with the same purpose and passion as always.

‘Daughters of the Hive’ Gutsy event | June 6

One of Kangaroo Island’s sweetest family-run destinations is opening its doors for a special winter afternoon of honey, art, storytelling and shared food.

Clifford’s Honey Farm will host its first Gutsy Kangaroo Island event, Daughters of the Hive, on Saturday June 6, bringing together honey-inspired grazing, drinks and a hands-on botanical geli printing workshop for one afternoon only.

Coastal Sounds | June 7

Coastal Sounds is gearing up for a huge return to our local beaches in 2026 with an even bigger celebration of music, art and seaside fun along Adelaide’s stunning coastline this June.

The free, family- friendly event will transform 12 beachfront locations into a coastal trail on Sunday, June 7th, inviting South Australians to get out and enjoy live performances, creative workshops, and entertainment. Running from 10am to late, Coastal Sounds 2026 will stretch from West Beach to Semaphore, with stops at Henley Beach and Grange.

Making Old New celebrates Adelaide’s vital role in shaping craft and design in Australia, and the enduring legacy of David Roche, whose passion for exceptional design and craftsmanship continues to inspire future generations.

Celebrate 10 years of opening David Roche Gallery and presenting David Roche’s remarkable collection of fine and decorative arts to the world. To mark this milestone ‘Making Old New: DRG 10th Anniversary’ brings together works of art from the David Roche collection selected by 20 emerging, mid-career, and senior South Australian artists associated with the JamFactory, and their inspired responses.
