Dominion Energy Riverrock brings music, outdoors sports to Richmond
Dominion Energy Riverrock outdoor sports and music festival was awesome with athletes, musicians, dogs and families having a splash of a good time.
Music lovers will unite this weekend to jam at the historic Halifax Triangle, aka the “Avenue,” at the Halifax Music Festival, the largest block party in Petersburg.
The outdoor jazz festival will feature a star-studded cast of musicians, vendors and a variety of food. Beer and wine will be sold onsite in the spirits garden.
“Petersburg Center for Development Inc. is excited to present this event. It’s our 19th year,” Pat Hines, president of the nonprofit, said. “We appreciate the artists who donate their time and talent for the community. We encourage people to come early to support the amazing vendors.”
The free event will take place June 12-14 along the Downtown Historic Commercial District. Halifax Triangle is formed by the three intersecting streets: Harrison Street on the east, Halifax Street on the west and South Avenue on the south.
