Sheryl Crow is calling for serious action to be taken against President Donald Trump. She also demanded government accountability following the release of new emails from the Department of Justice (DOJ), related to Jeffrey Epstein.

The Soak Up the Sun singer posted a series of statements on her Instagram story on Thursday night, addressing the ongoing fallout from the Epstein investigation and urging accountability for those connected to the late sex trafficker. In her remarks, Crow explicitly called for Trump to be “impeached and imprisoned” over his alleged ties to Epstein.

“Those named in the Epstein files in other countries are going down hard for it,” Crow wrote. “Not in America. We’re just going to act like it never happened or that it’s fake. Who are we if we do not stand up for children who are knowingly being pedaled to rich leaders all over the world,” she asked.

Crow continued by broadening her call for accountability beyond party lines, writing, “Trump needs to be impeached and imprisoned along with every other person…Democrat, Republican, American, or foreign who knew this was going on and never said anything.” The Express has reached out for comment on Crow’s post.

Crow’s statements come after the DOJ released more than three million emails and other documents connected to the Epstein case on January 30. That release followed several smaller document drops made throughout 2025 by the House Oversight Committee, the Justice Department, and Bloomberg News.

According to The New York Times, at least 5,300 documents in the Justice Department’s files referenced Trump or related terms. While the president was named in unverified tips received by the FBI, none of the documents showed direct communication between Trump and Epstein. Trump has repeatedly denied any allegations or suggestions of wrongdoing stemming from his past association with the disgraced financier.

Trump has also claimed that he cut ties with Epstein years ago, previously saying that he banned Epstein from his Mar-a-Lago club after Epstein “stole people that worked for me.”

The president faced renewed scrutiny last summer after reports surfaced about a sexually suggestive birthday message allegedly sent to Epstein that bore Trump’s signature. Trump denied writing the message and subsequently sued The Wall Street Journal over its reporting linking him to the note.

In December, the DOJ also drew criticism after briefly uploading and then removing an image taken from Epstein’s New York residence. The photo showed printed images of numerous individuals, including multiple photos of Trump posing with various women. The department later said the image was removed to “protect victims” before it was re-uploaded.

Crow’s comments also pointed to what she described as a stark contrast between how American figures and foreign officials have been treated when named in Epstein-related files. Several high-profile individuals outside the United States have resigned or been removed from their positions following renewed scrutiny.

One example is former British politician Peter Mandelson, who was dismissed from his role as the United Kingdom’s ambassador to the United States in September. His firing came after The Sun published leaked emails from 2008 showing Mandelson expressing support for Epstein after Epstein was charged with soliciting sex with a minor in 2006.

Following last month’s release of additional Epstein-related documents confirming further contact between Epstein and Mandelson, the politician was forced to resign from both the Labour Party and the House of Lords. Mandelson is now facing an investigation after the files suggested he may have leaked confidential government information to Epstein while in office.
