Cancer Bats have shared a new single titled “Long Tooth” as the second preview of their upcoming album Give Me Dirt, due out August 7th.

The track features guest vocals from indie-folk artist Brooklyn Doran. A music video directed by Mitch Barnes accompanies the release.
Frontman Liam Cormier shared the following:
The chorus reflects a realisation I’ve been having lately. I’m at the halfway point of my life (and yes, I fully intend to make it to at least 92). Like many people, I’ve spent years trying to fix certain parts of myself. Lately, I’ve found myself wondering whether those things really need fixing at all. They’ve carried me this far and have helped shape who I am. At some point, self-improvement gives way to self-acceptance, and the chorus embraces the idea that maybe it’s okay to just carry on.
This video was a blast to make! From building the sets to making the costumes, we worked really hard to bring this whole vision to life! I couldn’t be happier with how it all turned out.
