(NewsNation) — Pink did a bang-up job at the Tonys last weekend, but I hear she didn’t move to New York this year for Broadway or to take over Kelly Clarkson’s talk show.
Sources close to the singer say she specifically moved to New York for her daughter Willow.
Willow is a “fantastic soprano singer” and has dreams of being on Broadway — but is also very conscientious of being seen just as her mother’s daughter.

While Willow did accompany her mother to the Tonys (along with her father Carey Hart and her brother), she refused to perform on stage with Pink, who told the audience: “She has to do her own thing. She’s really hung up on this nepo-baby thing.”
Kudos to Willow, who does indeed have the chops to be on Broadway and to get there on her own merit.
