TV and radio host Darian “Big Tigger” Morgan, known for cohosting BET’s “106 & Park,” has been identified as a suspect in a domestic dispute investigation involving his wife.
Police launched the investigation after Morgan’s wife, Alicia Brown, sought medical attention at a hospital for non-life-threatening injuries sustained during an alleged altercation in May, TheGrio reported.
Public interest in the matter intensified following a now-deleted social media post by Brown featuring an image of her with facial bruises and a caption asking her husband to explain the injuries to her followers, according to Complex.
“I have never called my husband an abuser,” Brown said in a statement posted on X Friday by “The Breakfast Club” cohost Loren LoRosa. “Social media has drawn its own conclusions from information that was shared, but those conclusions are not statements I have made. I respect the legal process and believe law enforcement should be allowed to do its job without interference from anyone, including me.”

Morgan, who co-hosts the Atlanta-based radio show “The Big Tigger Morning Show,” issued a statement on Instagram Friday, categorically dismissing the circulating accusations as false and requesting privacy for his family as they navigate the difficult period, Us Weekly reported.
“I want to say categorically that these allegations and accusations that have been circulating are false,” Morgan said in the statement.
The media personality and his radio co-host Francesca Amiker explicitly shut down rumors of a romantic affair that Brown had previously cited as a factor in their divorce, according to Us Weekly.
“The allegations being circulated about me are completely false and do not reflect who I am or how I conduct myself,” she said in a statement posted on Instagram. “I have never had an affair or cheated with a married man. I stand by my character, my integrity, and the truth.”
Morgan also emphasized that he and Amiker are just friends.
“Additionally, it’s important to clarify that Francesca and I have never been anything more than friends and respected colleagues. I’d like to apologize to her for the impact of these last few days,” Morgan said in his statement.
