Knicks fever remains sky high this week with the NBA Champions set to take over The Tonight Show.
Following a historic win that essentially broke the internet, the New York Knicks will join Jimmy Fallon for a special episode on Monday night.
In a press statement, Fallon called it “a booking 53 years in the making.”
After 53 years, the Knicks won their first NBA championship since 1973 on Saturday night, beating the San Antonio Spurs. Following alleged curses and one hell of a comeback, the Knicks sealed their Game 5 victory 94-90, prompting celebrations in the streets of New York City and across social media.

On Monday night, the entire Knicks team will appear on The Tonight Show, with NBA Finals MVP Jalen Brunson, Karl-Anthony Towns, OG Anunoby, Josh Hart, and Mikal Bridges set to be interviewed by Fallon. Knicks head coach Mike Brown and the Knicks City Dancers will also join the show.
To seal the celebrations, New York icons Wu-Tang Clan will perform on the episode.
Tickets to the Knicks Tonight Show special have already been allocated to “Knicks fans who were unable to attend the Finals in person,” according to a press release. Guests previously locked in for the June 15 Tonight Show — Lin-Manuel Miranda, Britt Lower, Rhett and Link, and Zarna Garg, per Variety — will be moved to another date.
The Tonight Show Knicks special will air Monday, June 15 at 11:35 p.m. ET on NBC, and will be streaming Tuesday on Peacock.
