Tom Holland just confirmed what we already suspected: He and Zendaya are married.
In an interview with Esquire, the Spider-Man: Brand New Day actor was asked about the fake AI wedding photos that circulated the web, depicting the two stars at a big wedding ceremony in Lake Como, Italy, surrounded by their friends.
Holland noted that his grandmother actually fell for the photos, and even worried she hadn’t been invited to the wedding when she saw them.
When asked by the interviewer if any other family or friends were fooled by the AI snaps, Holland took a pause and then slyly replied: “No, because they were all there.” (Everyone gasp.) He added: “That’s all you’ll get on that.”
And honestly, that’s enough for now.
The first person to spread word that Zendaya and Holland had married was none other than the Euphoria star’s close friend and stylist, Law Roach. “The wedding has already happened. You missed it. It’s very true,” he told Access Hollywood during a red-carpet interview at the Actor Awards in March. But the couple stayed quiet amidst the madness.
Afterwards, Zendaya cheekily embarked on a bridal style streak, all while conveniently promoting her film The Drama, which centers around her character’s wedding.
Since then, Zendaya has also been spotted out and about wearing a gold band on her ring finger, though she has not publicly addressed it. While we certainly wish we knew all the details, we can only feel joy for the happy newlyweds.
