Looks like Tom Holland is so done with the bittersweet (and/or tragic) onscreen ending with his ladylove Zendaya.
Just a week after apparently revealing his marriage to the MJ actress, the “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” star is opening up about the next film he’d like to do with his wife, and what part he’d play.
The pair, who will also share screen in Christopher Nolan’s upcoming epic, “The Odyssey,” plays the fan-favorite couple of Peter Parker/Spider-Man and Michelle “MJ” Jones.

However, given the chance, Holland said, they’d like to star in a musical rom-com.
In a recent interview with Vanity Fair at the Paris photocall of “Spider-Man: Brand New Day,” Holland was asked what kind of movies he’d like to star in with Zendaya after his superhero series and “The Odyssey.”
The British star did not disappoint with his answer. He not only wants to delve in romance, but that too a musical one.
I think we’d make an amazing rom-com together,” shared Holland. “That’d be really fun. A musical rom-com.”
He also has their designated roles in mind, as he wants to see his multi-facet wife do the most of the heavy-lifting, that is, singing and dancing. He, on the other hand, would share part of the artistic endeavors.
He continued, “She could do the singing and the dancing, and I would do some of the dancing. That would be fun!”
This is not the only piece of information that Holland revealed about his relationship with Zendaya in the recent days. After revealing his wedding to the “Euphoria” actress, he also slipped his nickname for the actress, whose given name is Zendaya Maree Stoermer Coleman.
During a red carpet interview, he called Zendaya by her middle name, and referred to her as “Maree!” when Zendaya was being interviewed by People. Per the outlet, he asked her where they were headed to after the evening’s festivities.
Zendaya, for her part, also shared in another interview which habit of her husband frustrates her the most, revealing another aspect of their relationship.
While we still have to wait more than a month to relish the couple’s intense chemistry onscreen, with “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” scheduled to release on July 31, these interview clips are building the anticipation. Only if a Hollywood director could grab the opportunity to cast the beloved pair in a rom-com.
