London danced like never before this weekend, as Bad Bunny touched down to perform two sold-out shows at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Part of his Debí Tirar Más Fotos world tour, the concerts pulled in a combined crowd of around 100,000 fans.
Born Benito Antonio Martínez Ocasio, the superstar made history by becoming the first-ever Latin American artist to headline a United Kingdom stadium—his double-header becoming the largest Spanish-language music event in U.K. history.
As always, Bunny honored his native Puerto Rico with each nearly three-hour performance; but this time, as a tribute to Britain’s musical history, he also wove in The Beatles’s “Hey Jude” into his hit “Turista,” making the crowds go wild. And on night two, Gorillaz frontman Damon Albarn joined Bunny on the piano for a performance of their collaboration track, “Tormenta,” as well as “Clint Eastwood.”
(Last time Bunny performed in London, it was at the 1,200-capacity O2 Forum Kentish Town, where he sang songs from his 2018 debut album, X 100pre. So, times have surely changed for the better, for Benito.)
Fans from all over the world traveled to London for this past weekend’s record-breaking shows, and Benito’s Casita was quite star-studded, with guests that included Salma Hayek (with daughter Valentina Paloma Pinault), Joe Jonas, Ncuti Gatwa, Novak Djokovic, and British television host Maya Jama.
And many more stars supported Bunny from the stands: Margot Robbie, Adele, Romeo Beckham, and Nick Grimshaw, to name a few.
Debí Tirar Más Fotos heads to France and Sweden next. The explosive tour will conclude on July 22 in Brussels, Belgium.
