It appears Gigi Hadid stuck to bright colors for both her looks for Taylor Swift’s wedding. Swift’s longtime friend Ashley Avignone, with whom Hadid traveled to Swift’s July 2 rehearsal dinner, posted photos of them posing together in their dresses. The model chose a yellow Christopher Esber gown with cutouts down the bodice. Avignone wore a purple vintage Saint Laurent gown—one that appeared in paparazzi photos from that night.
Hadid’s hairstylist Dimitris Giannetos already revealed the pink Wiederhoeft gown she wore to Swift’s July 3 ceremony—which was teased in paparazzi photos of Hadid traveling to Madison Square Garden.
She was also photographed wearing a butter yellow look while leaving the reception.
While there were initially rumors that Hadid would be a bridesmaid in Swift’s wedding, Swift’s rep shared a statement revealing she had no bridesmaids in her wedding.
“Taylor and Travis did not have bridesmaids or groomsmen,” the spokesperson said. “Instead, her brother Austin Swift served as Taylor’s Man of Honor and Jason Kelce was Travis’s Best Man. The ceremony joined both families together and was officiated by friend Adam Sandler.”
Swift and Hadid have been close for over a decade. In 2017, the singer spoke to Harper’s Bazaar about their relationship. “As a friend, Gigi is one of the first people I go to for advice,” she said. “She has this incredible ability to see all sides of a situation and simplify it for you, to see the complexity of people.”
She added, “Gigi’s No. 1 rule is to treat people the way she’d want to be treated, so she’s on time (or early) to work, says hello to everyone on set, asks them how they are, and actually listens to their response.”
