The group’s agency SM Entertainment said WinWin will end his exclusive contract with them on July 9 after more than a decade together.
Boy band NCT’s WinWin will leave the group and not renew his contract with SM Entertainment, according to the agency.
“The agency, with ample consideration with WinWin, has decided to conclude the exclusive contract as of July 9, 2026,” the agency said in a statement uploaded to its fan community Wednesday.
“Therefore, WinWin will end all his NCT activities.”
Former bandmate Mark previously ended his contract with SM Entertainment and left NCT in April. Ten, on the other hand, left the agency in April but will continue as a member of NCT and WayV.
WinWin debuted as a member of NCT in 2016. In 2019, he joined SM Entertainment’s China-based subunit WayV.
“We thank WinWin, who has been with the company for more than 10 years, including his time as a trainee,” the agency said. “We support his future as he embarks on a new journey.”
