Jackson said production will begin at the Stageworks facility later this year as part of his expanding G-Unit Film & Television slate, which currently includes dozens of projects in development across multiple television networks. He also highlighted several Shreveport initiatives, including the G-Dome event venue, G-Unit Studios, the G-Stage performing arts theater, and future major boxing events.
Some of the upcoming projects will be developed in partnership with Samsung, giving productions access to emerging technology that has not yet been released to the public.
50 Cent described G-Unit Film & Television as one of the industry’s fastest-growing production companies and said Shreveport will play a significant role in its future. He also encouraged local creatives to stay tuned for upcoming open casting calls tied to his film and television projects.
According to KTL News, Jackson expressed pride in the ongoing plans and excitement about everyone understanding why “All roads lead to Shreveport.”
