Police have revealed the discovery of a possible suicide note written by Darrell Sheets before his death on April 22.
“I could not take anymore the Facebook bulling [sic],” it read in “shaky” handwriting, according to an incident report.
Before his death, Sheets claimed he had been “hacked” by someone whom the police say was “uncooperative” in their investigation.
Nearly three months after Darrell Sheets’ death, a possible suicide note has come to light.
According to a Lake Havasu City Police Department incident report obtained by Entertainment Weekly, a crime scene technician discovered a note inside a black basket in a bathroom closet “next to where the decedent was found.”
In handwriting described as “shaky,” it read: “I could not take anymore the Facebook bulling [sic], f— you [redacted].”
The note, said police, was written on the back of a document dated Feb. 20, 2026, two months before the Storage Wars alum died by suicide at his Lake Havasu, Ariz., home on April 22.
The detective investigating Sheets’ death interviewed the reality star’s brother, who revealed Sheets claimed he had a “stalker” back in January.
Two months later on March 9, Sheets announced on Facebook he had “been hacked by a very evil person” living in Keizer, Ore., according to the incident report. “I’m extremely sorry and sick over this, these people have ruined me… people are showing up to my work and wanting to harm me.” Sheets added that the police were “aware” but their hands were tied “because Facebook allows this.”
“If something happens to me,” he concluded, “it was [redacted] and his wife.”
The Lake Havasu detective reported that he reached out to the couple in question via numerous phone numbers connected to them. The man, whose name is redacted, called back “from an anonymous phone number” but was “extremely uncooperative,” according to the detective, “and did not want to provide any information” other than to say he was “nowhere near Lake Havasu City or Arizona in the past few days.”
The incident report also includes information from Sheets’ unnamed girlfriend, who told police about the former reality star’s state of mind in the days leading up to his suicide. She claimed he had been dealing “with a male slandering his name,” which caused him stress and insomnia.

Days before his suicide, she added, Sheets’ son Brandon came to Lake Havasu to visit, but the two argued over “family drama” and Brandon left.
On April 21, the day before Sheets died, the girlfriend claimed he had received a text message from Brandon’s wife “slandering” her and alleging she was “stealing money” from Sheets, which made him “sad and upset.”
That night, the couple slept in the same bed, but she said he got up at some point and went into his office. She followed and believed she saw Sheets sitting in a chair “with a handgun to his head.” The girlfriend told police he yelled at her to “go back to bed.”
As she backed out of the room, she “heard one gunshot” and immediately ran out to the garage to call 911.

On June 29, Sheets’ son Brandon and ex-wife Kimber Wuerfel held a celebration of life for the beloved Storage Wars personality, attended by former castmates Dave Hester and Rene and Casey Nezhoda.
“Yesterday was everything we could have hoped for and more,” Wuerfel captioned an Instagram reel from the memorial. “Family and friends traveled from near and far to celebrate Darrell’s life, share stories, laugh, cry, and remember the man we all loved so much. The turnout was incredible, and seeing friends from every chapter of his life together in one place was truly unforgettable.”
