On June 5, the Celebrity Family Feud star announced on Instagram that his father-in-law, James A. Bridges Sr., whose daughter is Steve’s wife, Marjorie, had died. ABC 24 Memphis reported James passed away at age 91 on June 1.
Steve used the moment to reflect on the bond he had with his father-in-law. “Yesterday we buried one of the best men I’ve ever met,” he wrote. “James Bridges Sr., Marjorie’s father … but to me, Pop Bridges. Thank you, sir, for the example of faith, fatherhood, and family.”
Shortly after Steve posted about his father-in-law’s death, Marjorie expressed her gratitude for her husband’s support.
“Thank you, my love 🙏🏽,” she wrote.
