Katy Perry played Jazz Open in Stuttgart, Germany, and her boyfriend, Justin Trudeau, made the trip over to support her. The singer posted a carousel of photos from her performance on Instagram and snuck in a shot of Trudeau kissing her. Trudeau was also spotted in the crowd at her show.
“Would need to confirm, but pretty sure last night was the first time Jazz Open had an inflatable crowd surfing water bottle 🇩🇪,” the singer wrote.
Perry is playing at festivals across Europe all summer; she’ll be performing at France’s Musilac later today in Aix-les-Bains. She and Trudeau will celebrate the one-year anniversary of their first date on July 28.
Last month, Perry opened up about her relationship with the former Canadian prime minister during a Q&A at the Tribeca Festival premiere of her concert film, Katy Perry: The Lifetimes Tour.
She told the moderator, music journalist Tomás Mier, “I am very in love.”
The film showcased her Paris concert, which came just as her love story with Trudeau was beginning. “Actually, that show was after I met the love of my life, and so I felt very anchored by that because I’m a little bit like a rainbow kite,” she explained. “I fly super high and like, you know, touch the veil, cosmos, and sometimes I need to be anchored. So, to have that anchor finally makes me feel really whole now.”
She touched on her journey in 2025, which included her breakup from Orlando Bloom. “The last year was probably one of the hardest years of my life, and I went through a fuck ton,” she admitted. “There were days that were really, really hard, but I just kept going because I made a promise to my fans. I made a promise to my daughter. I made a promise to myself, and I got through it.”
